Here is a scanned print-out of the e-mail that John Day sent to Susan Collins’ campaign manager Bob Tyrer, at Tyrer’s U.S. Senate e-mail address in Sen. William Cohen’s government office. As you can see from the address line, Day also sent the e-mail, apparently mistakenly, to Stephanie Cohen, who was working in the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee office.

Ironically, if Tyrer had not been using the U.S. Government e-mail system (in violation of FEC regulations) to correspond with Day, this crossover mistake would probably never have happened.
